Panel Inserts

Recently added to our website are the Panel Inserts. Not a completely new idea as we have been manufacturing and selling these to the industry for a number of years, mostly for export to the USA. However, we are finding more and more customers in Europe who would also benefit from adding our activities to their own panels and products, there is also a potential for some UK companies to do the same, so we thought it was time to offer them out in general.

Panel Inserts are the ideal solution for those customers who machine their own HDPE panels or work with other materials such as timber and HPL.

Alternatively, you could have an existing structure such as a truck, ship or car that you could easily add extra play value to by adding an electronic sound dashboard for example.

We supply the Panel Insert assembled or part assembled, depending on the insert required and along with it a CAD drawing of the aperture and fastener points required in the host panel, all you have to do is offer the insert into the panel and attach it in place with security fasteners, we can even supply these for you if you wish!

Don't forget that we can also design a complete new and bespoke panel inserts specifically for you to suit your product range.

NEW Village Shop Panel

This is a stunningly simple and yet beautiful panel, personally I think it raises the bar yet again of what you can do with some imagination and HDPE sheet materials. Featuring plant-on graphics that not only create a more 3D tactile design but add multiple colours to make it look more realistic, then add to that the almost minor detail, but never the less a simple stroke of genius that is that "Open" and "Closed" rotating sign - this is my new favourite panel!

New Tic Tac Toe Development

Here is a new design we have been working on for the latest Tic Tac Toe (Noughts & Crosses) Panel. This time we are combining the chunky, multi-layered swivelling games pieces with individual apertures and some themed graphics, which has proved challenging due to the limited space available on the 595x800mm standard size panel. I think it looks really good this one, I especially like the bright colours with the black/white monotone base panel, great contrast that helps the swivelling games pieces jump out at you.

The Early Years Express, featuring Ernie the Engine

The concept of a smaller set of trains and carriages for the 2-7 age range is not a new one and in fact I personally created the very first set of Log Trains and Carriages over 15 years ago which went on to great success and has since been emulated and improved by many play companies in the industry.
So when I was first shown the concepts for the Early Years Express I was really pleased that we had moved away from the existing design trends and created something fresh and new and yet still retained all the fun and excitement that is normally associated with this type of product.

The Early Years Express can be purchased as a complete set with Ernie the Engine and 3 carriages or as individual units so you can start with just Ernie and maybe one carriage, then add more carriages at a later date when your customer wants them. To enhance the whole imaginative and role play scene, we can also supply a Ticket Office Panel which features a "Next Train" Clock with rotating hands and a Station Shop Panel which features a swivelling "Open/Closed" sign and an Ice Cream graphic, both these panels can be supplied with or without 100% recycled plastic posts.

Ernie the Engine and the Carriages are very stable products with a low centre of gravity making them particularly suitable for freestanding use in the playground, however ground lugs are available if the units need to be anchored to the ground.

Would you like post with that panel?

We are now offering 100% recycled plastic posts as an option to purchase for many of our play panels. The posts are available in 2 standard lengths and in round or square section material.

The next step (which I have requested by the way) is to have coloured HDPE post caps which will finish off the look of the posts with a bright colourful accent and of course a fitting kit to enable the panels to be attached to the posts without you having to think about fasteners etc.

As always, you can buy what components you need, so for example you might have your own timber posts, but would like to purchase the fixing kit to mount the play panel to your posts, or you might have your own fixing method, but like the idea of recycled plastic posts that do not rot, crack or splinter - I could go on, but I think you have the general idea.
